Bangle No. 3 “La Chrysalide”

In limited, numbered series. 

The designer handcrafts each piece entirely in Limoges porcelain at her workshop in Provence.

Piece by piece, each curve is patiently designed, sculpted, refined and meticulously polished.

This creation requires special treatment and must be fired in 3 firings in a high-temperature kiln: first the first firing, “le Dégourdie”, followed by glazing and the second firing, “la vitrification”. 

Finally, it's time for the delicate application of liquid yellow gold with a brush, which is then fired in the third fire.

What is Gold filled 14 Carats?

Gold-filled 14 carats is the thickest form of gold plating. It is therefore more precious than gold-plated. Gold-filled contains 50 to 100 times more gold than gold-plated jewelry. 

Using a combination of pressure and heat, the gold-filled manufacturing technique covers a metal base with a solid layer of 14-carat gold. Gold-filled jewels are therefore much more durable than conventional gilding, if care is taken.

The pieces are made in small, limited and numbered series, which is why the beetle you choose will be a one-off. Each piece carries its own certificate of authenticity from the Maison. 

Any small difference should be considered as a particular characteristic of the object. Color and shape may vary slightly.

Pieces are dispatched in three to five working days (when in stock). If made to order, it takes about 2 weeks to create the piece and ship it.

All Héliora pieces, handmade by the designer, are intended to be handed down through the ages.

The designer advises you to adopt small habits that will prolong its life:

- Avoid contact with perfumes and cosmetics.

- Remove jewelry before swimming, sports, showering and sleeping. This reduces stress and build-up on metals. 

- Always store your jewelry in a safe, clean and dry place, ideally in its original packaging.

To preserve the lustre of your jewelry, you can regularly use a polishing cloth (to which you can add soap and water) to polish the white of porcelain and to restore the lustre of gold.
